International Day against Child Labor: Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem calls the relevant authorities to end child labor, protect children
His Eminence, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, called on the International Day for Combating Child Labor to put an end to child labor and protect them from exploitation.
His Eminence tweeted on Saturday, June 12, 2021, "A terrifying statistic announced by Child rights organizations that one child out of every ten children around the world is in the labor market and may participate in activities that exceed the capabilities of adults or dangerous work that may endanger their physical or mental development. On the International Day against Child Labor, we urge the need to support the international initiatives concerned with putting an end to child labor in all its forms, as we also call on the legislative and executive authorities and NGOs, especially those responsible for children and family, to protect the new youth from the clutches of terrorist and organized crime gangs that abuses poverty to divert them from the path of truth.”
