Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem discusses Iraq’s, regional political scene developments with Al-Halbousi
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the Speaker of House of Representative, Mr. Mohammed al-Halbousi, and exchanged views on the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, the forthcoming general elections, and the role of House in the next phase, in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
His Eminence stressed the importance of preparing for the elections and competing based on programs and visions that would change the service and economic reality in the country, while the two sides emphasized the Iraqi equation and the Iraqi decision and proceeding from the national interest in determining the paths to follow for the next phase.
His Eminence indicated the need for the House of Representatives to assume its role in oversight and legislation and the completion of suspended laws, pointing out that priority should be given to laws that are in direct contact with the concerns and needs of the citizens.
