Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, called on those in charge of the Ministry of Electricity to take a serious and responsible stand to find an urgent solution to the chronic electricity crisis.
His Eminence tweeted on July 2, 2021, “The power outages that citizens are experiencing in light of a steep incline in temperatures call for a serious and responsible stance from those who are in charge of the ministry to find an urgent solution to this chronic crisis.”
He called for exposing the real flaw behind this issue, the failure to manage it, and the internal and external causes that intentionally confuse and endangered citizens' lives.
He called for a review of all the money wasted on this vital infrastructure since 2003 to this day, adding "those who are in charge of this critical service file should bear the responsibility of what the people are suffering from these power outages."
