Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem: Iraq is a sovereign country and an effort to impose a fait accompli is doomed to failure

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, clarified that Iraq is a sovereign country and an effort to impose a fait accompli is doomed to failure.
His Eminence tweeted on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, “Achieving peace in the region and the world comes through the interaction of countries among themselves by international charters and cooperation based on the foundations of mutual relations and common interests, and while the countries of the region, led by Iraq, have full sovereignty, any endeavor to impose a fait accompli policy on it is destined to fail.”
His Eminence called upon the neighboring regional countries to deal with Iraq as an independent country with full sovereignty, and in no case would it allow its sovereignty to be compromised or its territories to be infringed.
