Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem: Baghdad conference, opportunity to articulate new vision of relations, important step towards restoring Iraq's leading role
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed today the brothers and friends participating in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership for Neighboring Countries, in Baghdad of Love and Peace in a statement on August 28, 2021.
His Eminence stressed that this summit is a crucial step towards restoring Iraq’s leading role in the region and the world and indicated that it is a conducive opportunity to articulate a new vision of relations, openness, and cooperation on one hand, and affirming respect for Iraqi sovereignty and cooperation to resolve outstanding differences in the region on the other, hoping that its outputs will result in common visions and unified resolutions that plays a significant role in the stability of the countries of the region politically, security, economically and developmentally.
