Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem stresses arts role in addressing social issues, conveys its positive images
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, during his reception of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, Dr. Jabbar Joudi, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, said that art is a purposeful message and must have a larger role in Iraqi society.
His Eminence affirmed that a message sent by art through a dramatic scene or an artistic painting might be more than enough than loads of research and operational procedures to treat a problem.
His Eminence called to take care of the school’s or university’s theater, and that it’s imperative to invest in art in conveying positive images of Iraqi society, stressing the need to support artists and meet their needs on a logistical or personal level, indicating that the artist's support serves society, given creativity is motivated with support.
