Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem thanks Supreme Religious Authority to urge elections participation, considers October elections national epic

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, appreciates the Supreme Religious Authority urging the people to take part in the October elections in which H.E. described as a grand national epic to be added to the sacrifices and the elections of the Iraqi people for honor and dignity.
His Eminence tweeted on October 10, 2021, “We present our gratitude and appreciation for our great Iraqi people who, today, wrote yet another grand national epic that will be added to its record that’s full of achievements and sacrifices to honor the homeland and the people. We also gratefully thank our people who voted and took part in the elections, feeling responsible to answer the call, especially granting their trust to the candidates of the National State Powers Alliance. We also give special thanks and gratitude to the Supreme Religious Authority who called and encouraged citizens to participate consciously and broadly.”
His Eminence thanked the PM, the Iraqi Government, the IHEC, and the security forces who provided security for the ballot boxes, and extended his thanks and gratitude to all of the international monitors who arrived to monitor this democratic process. H.E. expressed his hope that the IHEC will announce the results within the 24-hour set limit, and call upon them to preserve the votes as this is the grandest trust of all.
His Eminence called everyone to resort to legal procedures in dealing with complaints or lodging an appeal against the results of the elections and accept them, only to start a new page amongst the winning political powers to cooperate and have an understating to serve the interest of the homeland and the people.
