Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem receives Al-Fayyadh, stresses public interest over personal
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the head of the Popular Mobilization Committee Mr. Falih Al-Fayyadh on Friday, October 15, 2021, and discussed the developments of the political scene and the results of the elections and their impact on the next phase.
His Eminence illustrated the importance of preventing a new political crisis due to the results of the elections and stressed the necessity to adhere to the culture of ceding in favor of Iraq, stating that a strong and able Iraq can ensure everyone’s rights. H.E. also stressed adhering to the law and constitution to ensure this.
His Eminence reiterated the necessity of appeals and complaints to be taken seriously by the IHEC and the Judicial institutions, stating that all that has been submitted must be taken into consideration as this will benefit the transparency of the electoral process.
