    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem: Iraq is able to overcome political crises if public interest comes first

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the Japanese Ambassador, Kotaro Suzuki in his office on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
    His Eminence discussed strengthening Baghdad-Tokyo relations, regional and local politics updates, and recent elections’ results’ crisis.
    His Eminence affirmed the importance of benefiting from the Japanese experience in terms of reconstructing, providing services, exchanging experiences, and delegations, as well as the Japanese companies’ presence in Iraq and investing its sound reputation and the positive feedback that the Iraqi people have toward them. 
    His Eminence referred to Iraq’s need for political pacification during this delicate state, as escalation will benefit no one.
    His Eminence illustrated Iraq’s ability to overcome the current crisis if everyone placed the country’s interest higher and succeeded in placing it before their interest.
