Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets with Sayyid Hussein Al-Sadr, stresses to avoid political impasse following recent elections
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, met His Eminence, Ayatollah Al-Faqih, Sayyid Hussein Ismail Al-Sadr, "May Allah extends his Life" on Sunday, November 14, 2021, and discussed with His Eminence the public, political, and social affairs, where he clarified the nature of the changes that the phase witnessed and the results of the recent elections and the nature of the confusion left by it.
The two sides urged everyone to avoid escalation and at the same time avoid political impasse, and indicated that the Iraqi society is looking forward to improving its living, service, and economic reality and that opportunities are possible and promising if the leaders show the spirit of concession to Iraq, finding middle ground and placing the public interest above all else.
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem referred to the role of the religious institution in addressing social issues, holding all social actors the responsibility of cooperating with the religious institution to address these issues. At the end of the meeting, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem thanked His Eminence Al-Sadr for the warm reception, wishing him continued health and well-being.
