Sayyid Al-Hakeem discusses political scene developments with German ambassador, calls to continue dialogue to converge views
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with German Ambassador Martin Jaeger on Tuesday 19/4/2022, and discussed the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region and the relations between Iraq and Germany and ways to develop them, as His Eminence stressed the importance of developing relations in all fields.
His Eminence demonstrated the importance of a country the size of Germany to Iraq, especially the investment in the promising opportunities offered by Iraq in all fields, stressing also Iraq's need for the German experience to recover from the rubble of war and destruction.
Politically, His Eminence referred to his recent initiative to end the political impasse and said that dismantling the political impasses requires concessions from all parties and finding a middle ground for the Iraqi public interest. H.E. called for the continuation of dialogue to converge views and come up with a unified vision for the solution.
