Sayyid Al-Hakeem: “Iraq paid the tax of transformation from a totalitarian dictatorship to a democratic pluralism”
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a generous group of sheiks and dignitaries of the clans of Najaf province in the honorable guest place of Sheikh Salam AbdulAmeer, sheikh of Albu Hadari clan in the holy city of Kufa 2/6/2022, recalling the joint history that brought them together with the sheiks, dignitaries, and people of this region and the honorable and long march of jihad in the face of dictatorship, and terrorism after 2003, noting that Iraq suffered from uneasy transformations, including the transition from dictatorship a centralized totalitarian system to the democratic system and the plurality of opinions, and said that this transformation is a tax paid by the Iraqi people at various levels.
His Eminence pointed out that the Iraqi democratic system had suffered from wrong readings from the outside and from the stampede and lack of harmony between its internal parties, but it had achieved many successes, once again confirming that Iraq’s stability is the stability of the region, as it’s pivotal in the region, which calls for optimism and not getting caught in the details of the past.
His Eminence called again to support farmers and pay their dues on time, as their support achieves food security and provides a pivotal source of income to the Iraqi economy, and creates an encouraging environment for farmers to revive the land and hold on to it.
