Sayyid Al-Hakeem to British Ambassador: Our initiative to solve the current political crisis has considered all proposals
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, discussed with the British Ambassador in Baghdad Mark Bryson on 6/6/2022, the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region and the challenges of climate, food, and energy.
His Eminence renewed the call to take what is possible of the proposed initiatives to solve the current political crisis, including our initiative that took into account all the orientations and visions proposed by all parties. H.E. has also called on everyone to assume their responsibilities to end the current situation, which has negatively affected the lives of citizens and disrupted many of their interests.
Concerning the region and the world, His Eminence stressed the importance of dialogue to solve the outstanding problems and emphasized that everyone tried the method of breaking and exercise of power, but that did not contribute to solving any of the crises, but rather made matters more complex and far from the solution, and drew attention to the need to unify positions towards the challenges of food security, energy, and climate.
