Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives British Ambassador, discusses political landscape developments and bilateral ties
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq, His Excellency Mr. Mark Bryson on 24/11/2022, and affirmed the importance of developing the bilateral ties between Iraq and U.K in all fields in what serves the interests of the two countries and preserves the sovereignty of Iraq.
His Eminence listened to His Excellency on his country’s support affirmation to the direction of Mr. Al-Sudani’s government in having balanced regional and international relations. H.E. emphasized the importance of Iraq’s political and security stability as a condition and starting point for the economy’s recovery, investments, and diversifying sources of funding. Moreover, H.E. proved through experience that the region’s security and stability, and related interests are connected to Iraq’s stability and security.
H.E. stressed the necessity of developing the economic system in Iraq by addressing the bank system, supporting the private sector, providing job opportunities for our people, and benefiting from the experiences of the region’s countries and the world, including Britain.
