    Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets US Ambassador, affirms Iraq will not be a passage or launch point to threaten neighbors’ security and stability

    Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received the Ambassador of the United States of America, Her Excellency Ms. Alina L. Romanowski Today’s morning, on 1/12/2022, and discussed Iraqi and regional political landscape developments, Baghdad-Washington bilateral ties, and the ways to enhance and develop them in what serves the interest of the two countries.
    His Eminence affirmed the importance of Iraq as the entry point for the region’s security and stability and illustrated the success factors that Mr. Al-Sudani’s government possesses, starting from regional and international support, the parliament’s support, security stability, and financial abundance. H.E. reiterated Iraq’s will to have balanced relations with everyone based on preserving its sovereignty and achieving its people’s interests.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem called for bigger contributions in supporting climate change, facing desertification, and economic reform, affirming that Iraq can’t be a passage or a launching point to threaten the neighboring countries' security and stability.
