Sayyid Al-Hakeem receives the Republic of Iraq’s President, H.E. Dr. Abdullateef Rasheed
His Eminence, Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement received The President of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Dr. Abdullateef Rasheed on 10/12/2022. The two sides discussed the political landscape developments in Iraq and the region and the restoration of Iraq’s pivotal role between the factions. They also called to maintain dialogue to surpass the outstanding issues between the federal government and the region’s government by the national interest’s formula and conceding for Iraq and about the importance of activating the parliament’s current session and preparing the important laws to pave the way for their passing.
H.E. affirmed the importance of acquiring Iraqi water rights from countries of origin and transit and activating the International Agreements regarding this matter. H.E. concluded the meeting by thanking His Excellency for visiting Iraqi provinces and listening to the citizens’ issues.
