Sayyid Al-Hakeem stresses Iraq’s foreign relations balance
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met the French Ambassador to Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Éric Chevalier on 3/1/2022, and discussed the development of the political landscape in Iraq and the region, the bilateral ties between Baghdad and Paris, and files of common interest, listening to His Excellency on his country’s support for Mr. Al-Sudani’s Government.
His Eminence affirmed that Iraq is balancing its foreign relations and is open to all based on its national interest, sovereignty, and the independence of its political decisions, calling everyone to invest in Iraq’s opportunities in construction and services.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq is a portal for stability for the region and the world, and illustrated that Iraq is facing a security challenge that requires special procedures that can live up to the nature of the challenge and the necessity for maintaining security and military operations to eliminate terrorist hideouts and holes.
