Sayyid Al-Hakeem called to update religious discourse, launch peaceful community coexistence messages
In the capital of Iraqi diversity, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, had a meeting with several of the best religious scholars in the Sunni Endowment bureau, led by His Eminence Sheik Dr. Sami Al-Zandi, the chairman of the Sunni endowment, appreciating their efforts in spreading the discourse of moderation and centrism.
His Eminence stressed that the goodness of scientists is good for the parish, indicating that sectarianism in Iraq is political, not societal, and that there are those who relied on causing disputes between people for political gains.
H.E. called for updating the speech and investing in social media channels in delivering awareness-raising content and rejecting the dispute.
H.E. Stressed that the rejection of extremism and militant rhetoric is a victory for Islam and its noble values, as H.E. urged to introduce the public to the fragmented and crooked readings that extremists are trying to export as the religion of Islam, and also called for the launch of messages of unity and the establishment of joint events to reassure people and their adherence to each other.
