Sayyid Al-Hakeem meets Shura Council Delegation, considers exchanged visits as positive for countries’ cooperation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, received a delegation from the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 10/9/2023. The delegation was led by His Excellency Deputy Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Qannas, who serves as the head of the Iraqi-Saudi Friendship Committee at the Shura Council. The Saudi Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, was also in attendance. During our meeting, H.E. discussed the political developments in the region and the bilateral relations between Iraq and the Kingdom. H.E. commended the level of communication between our two countries at both the governmental and legislative levels. Furthermore, H.E. emphasized that Iraq is currently experiencing an unprecedented state of stability in terms of security, politics, economics, and society. Additionally, Iraq is enjoying unparalleled regional, Arab, and international openness. H.E. underscored the importance of maximizing our shared interests with the Kingdom for the benefit of all.
