Sayyid Al-Hakeem stands in solidarity with the protests of the teacher community in Sulaymaniyah
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, expressed his support for the ongoing demonstrations by teachers in Sulaymaniyah. In a released statement, His Eminence emphasized his close monitoring of the protests and activities carried out by the teacher community in the Sulaymaniyah province. H.E. declared his unity with them, urging the regional government to promptly release their deserved payments and address the needs of this crucial sector. It is unjust for their struggles to persist without viable solutions.
Furthermore, H.E. encouraged the esteemed federal government to persist in championing the teachers' demands and actively pursuing their cause with the regional government.
H.E. stressed the importance of honoring the rights of educators in the Rasafa district of Baghdad. Additionally, H.E. called for the creation of job opportunities that cater to this sector, which has made significant contributions to the educational landscape. Having devoted years to unpaid work and effectively filled teaching staff gaps, this community now awaits fair treatment and support with the available resources.
