    Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Chinese Ambassador: Popular satisfaction transformed Iraq into large hub

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with His Excellency Mr. Cui Wei, the esteemed Chinese Ambassador to Baghdad on 28/4/2024, during which they discussed various topics, including the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Beijing, the current political landscape locally, regionally, and internationally, as well as the investment prospects in Iraq. His Eminence stressed the significance of capitalizing on Iraq's promising opportunities for reconstruction and development and expressed our appreciation for the presence of Chinese companies. H.E. reiterated Iraq's openness to all while safeguarding its interests and sovereignty.
    H.E. underscored Iraq's unprecedented levels of security, political stability, and social cohesion, which present favorable conditions for development and economic prosperity. H.E. emphasized Iraq's status as a significant hub for various projects across Baghdad and other provinces, contributing to widespread public satisfaction with the current government.
    H.E. praised China's supportive stance on regional issues, notably the Palestinian cause, and emphasized the need to channel all efforts toward ending the unjust war in Gaza, marked by genocide and starvation.
