Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to stay up to date on AI, harness its power, mitigate drawbacks

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with several researchers and specialists in the field of artificial intelligence, who were partaking in the Artificial Intelligence Conference organized by the University of Baghdad in partnership with the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue. His Eminence conveyed appreciation to the conference organizers and advocated for embracing advancements and adapting them for human welfare.
H.E. stated Artificial intelligence represents more of an opportunity than a challenge; thus, it should be harnessed, with its drawbacks mitigated.
H.E. indicated the significance of artificial intelligence in societal contexts suggests that future illiteracy may hinge on the percentage of familiarity with AI.
H.E. stated that proper data input is crucial for meaningful outcomes in artificial intelligence, yet it remains confined to data and cannot evolve into consciousness. Human consciousness remains distinct, with choices and decisions being solely human, and spiritual aspects holding importance.
H.E. reiterated the imperative to invest in artificial intelligence within humanitarian and human sciences domains. We urged the importance of focusing on this science as it is a fundamental pillar in addressing society's needs, as societal crises storm Arab and Islamic societies, giving humanitarian science its importance.
H.E. illustrated that Iraq has undergone significant challenges. Yet, praise be to Allah, and with the wisdom of Iraqis and overcoming the consequences, Iraq has demonstrated resilience, transitioning away from societal conflicts swiftly, and now enjoys a period of security and political stability. Iraqis now enjoy a state of unprecedented freedom. A significant shift in perspective towards the country's enhanced security is recognized as integral to regional stability.
H.E. considered the formation of The State Running Coalition has positively impacted the current landscape, alongside regional and international understanding of Iraq's situation, bolstered by the Prime Minister's administrative and executive prowess. These factors have led to increased public satisfaction with the government and political powers.
