Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to leverage Iraq's current situation to provide services, achieve development
During His Eminence’s visit to the residence of Sheikh Muteir Shelaga Al-Shareefy, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the sheikhs and dignitaries of Al-Shareefy tribe, reminiscing about the milestones of their ancestors with Al-Shareefy tribe. H.E. emphasized that their long history binds them in moments of generosity, sacrifice, blood, and tears, reaffirming his keenness to maintain the relationship with Iraqi tribes. H.E. clarified that the purpose of the visit was to communicate and monitor the conditions of the provinces, to understand their realities, and to address their problems as much as possible.
H.E. pointed out that Iraq is on the right path and is viewed with respect and influence, calling for the utilization of the new situation and the provision of services, as serving people represents the shortest path to Allah. H.E. illustrated that the local government is eager to provide the best for the people of Babylon, also mentioning that Babylon is still in transition, and its progress is awaited soon.
H.E. discussed the water problem, noting that it is compounded by climate change and the level of drought in the region, as well as the use of primitive methods for irrigation. H.E. emphasized the importance of the recent agreement with Turkey, stating that if it proceeds as planned, it will contribute to strengthening Iraq's water security. H.E. reassured everyone that Iraq is on the right track and is advancing confidently and steadily.
