Sayyid Al-Hakeem calls to invest Dhi Qar’s agricultural, industrial, tourism features
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with a delegation from Dhi Qar’s Provincial Council, led by Mr. Ezzat Al-Nashi, to discuss their vision for the city. His Eminence stressed the importance of stability in Dhi Qar and the need to implement projects in this key region. H.E. highlighted the potential to capitalize on its agricultural, industrial, and tourism features, noting its rich archaeological sites and natural reserves. H.E. also advocated for securing the province's water allocation to support agriculture and create job opportunities.
H.E. reaffirmed the importance of coordinated efforts between the local government and relevant ministries, especially those involved in service projects within the province. Furthermore, H.E. emphasized the need to restore the powers of local governments, viewing them as service-oriented entities with direct contact with the public.
