Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Diwaniya is Poised for a Development Campaign to Transform Its Services if matter Stays on Track
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a delegation of tribal leaders and dignitaries from Diwaniya, led by Sheikh Zuhair Al-Shalaan. During the meeting, they discussed the current social and service conditions in Diwaniya. Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted that the governorate is set to undergo a significant development campaign that could transform its service and infrastructure landscape if executed according to plan.
His Eminence emphasized the importance of supporting the governorate's economic characteristics, particularly in agriculture and industry. H.E. called for revitalizing factories, attracting investors, and creating a secure environment for them. Additionally, H.E. urged for the implementation of administrative powers based on the decentralization principle outlined in the Constitution. H.E. also stressed the need for immediate measures to address water scarcity in the province, including the adoption of modern irrigation techniques and the regulation of water consumption.
