Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Religious Scholars Role to Spread Optimisim, Moderation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the Head of the Iraqi Fatwa House (Dar Al-IFtaa), His Eminence Sheikh Mahdi Al-Sumaidaie, and exchanged views on the development of social conditions and the challenges facing the community. Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized the importance of unity and rejecting divisive calls, as well as the crucial role of religious scholars in promoting a culture of tolerance, moderation, and centrism.
His Eminence also highlighted the necessity of addressing social challenges and foreign ideologies targeting various segments of society, including the youth. H.E. called for the modernization of religious discourse methods and the use of modern approaches in advising and guidance.
