Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Supporting Local Government, Preserve Iraq’s Stability with Abu Risha
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, the head of Sahwat Al-Iraq Conference, and discussed maintaining the current stability in the country and supporting local governments. His Eminence discussed political developments and emphasized that maintaining stability is a collective responsibility. Furthermore, H.E. highlighted the importance of empowering local governments by granting them their constitutional authority, enabling them to implement their service programs, complete projects, and focus on infrastructure development.
Concerning the House of Parliament, H.E. underscored the necessity of selecting a new Speaker. We reiterated the call for consensus among the Genuine Sunni community to facilitate cooperation with their national partners. Additionally, H.E. advocated for choosing a candidate committed to the political system and its principles of pluralism and administrative decentralization.
