Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Parliamentary Bloc’s, Baghdad’s Taqadum Bloc’s Leader
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with a delegation from the Taqaddum Bloc in Baghdad’s Provincial Council, headed by MP Haibat Al-Halbousi, the leader of the parliamentary bloc. During the meeting, they discussed recent political developments and stressed the importance of preserving the stability achieved on the political, security, social, and economic fronts. His Eminence also underscored the need to support stability in local governments and emphasized the importance of granting them powers following the constitutional principle of decentralization.
Additionally, H.E. reaffirmed our support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the necessity of alleviating the burdens of displacement and war, expressing confidence that these efforts will significantly help mitigate the consequences.
H.E. also highlighted the crucial role of Parliament in its oversight and legislative responsibilities, calling for this period to be invested to advance the passage of key laws that directly impact citizens and the political system.
Moreover, H.E. urged support for the government's efforts in service and development, emphasizing the role of services in building public trust in the political system and political powers.
