Sayyid Al-Hakeem Lauds Iraq’s Aid Campaign to Answer the Supreme Religious Authority’s Call
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Mr. Falih Al-Fayyadh, and commended the donation campaign initiated by the Iraqi people in response to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority. His Eminence reiterated the importance of safeguarding and building on the security achievements, which were made possible by the sacrifices of Iraqis from all backgrounds, and emphasized the need to establish lasting stability. H.E. stressed that it is everyone's responsibility to achieve this goal.
H.E. pointed out the necessity of improving the PMF’s capabilities in armament and training, ensuring the welfare of its fighters, and keeping the organization free from political disputes and rivalries.
Additionally, H.E. renewed the call for a ceasefire on both the Palestinian and Lebanese fronts, holding the international community accountable for halting Israel’s systematic killing of civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. H.E. underscored the importance of enforcing international resolutions to restore international legitimacy as a key political reference for countries in the region and beyond.
