Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Al-Mayahi, Stresses Granting Local Government’s Constitutional Rights
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, Listened to a briefing from Wasit Governor Dr. Mohammed Jameel Al-Mayahi on the province's service and development conditions. His Eminence emphasized that delivering services to citizens is a pressing necessity that first seeks the satisfaction of Allah Almighty and is also a national and professional obligation. Furthermore, it aligns with the government's program.
H.E. highlighted the importance of utilizing the province's agricultural, industrial, and tourism potential and stressed the need to support the agricultural sector and farmers. H.E. also pointed out the importance of coordination between the local government, the province, and the federal ministries. Additionally, H.E. called for granting local governments their constitutional and legal powers to enable them to fulfill the promises made to citizens in their respective provinces.
