Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Embrace Diversity to Enrich Society
During his visit to the Kurdistan Region, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a gathering of sheikhs and dignitaries from the Barzani tribe at the guesthouse of Sheikh Warya Al-Welani. His Eminence recalled key moments in Iraq’s history that united them, emphasizing that their commonalities lie in loyalty to Islam, the Prophet (peace be upon him), and Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them). H.E. called for upholding Iraq's diversity, seeing it as a source of enrichment for Iraqi society.
H.E. also highlighted Iraq’s struggle through many challenges until it reached a phase of calm and stability, urging the nation to hold onto these achievements. H.E. praised the broad participation in the elections, noting that it reflects democratic awareness. H.E. stressed the importance of dialogue and building mutual trust among all parties, calling for cooperation and listening to one another to achieve a safe and prosperous nation. H.E. concluded by stating that his visit to Kurdistan was a gesture of love and a desire to connect with the people of the region.
