Sayyid Al-Hakeem Emphasizes the Importance of Educating Generations About the Shared Historical Moments Between Arabs and Kurds
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with a group of sheikhs and dignitaries from the Zibari tribe at the guesthouse of Sheikh Reda Agha Al-Zibari in Dohuk province. Reflecting on the sacrifices made together to end the dictatorship, His Eminence emphasized the importance of remembering these pivotal historical moments. H.E. stated that these events are significant and must be preserved and passed on to future generations. H.E. stressed the need for continued meetings and visits between all components of the nation, urging for unity among Iraqis. H.E. also pointed to the high voter turnout in the regional elections, noting that it reflected the growing awareness among the people of Kurdistan. H.E. emphasized that stability in any region is stability for all of Iraq, and called for further exchange of visits between the Kurdistan region, the center, and the south, facilitated through tribal leaders, dignitaries, and all socially active figures.
