Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Development and Services Are Priorities in the Post-Crisis Phase
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received a delegation from the Tashree’ Foundation for Sustainable Development in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf. H.E. emphasized that after overcoming its past crises, Iraq must prioritize development and the provision of essential services.
H.E. underscored the importance of managing diversity and respecting specific identities to build a secure and stable Iraq. H.E. explained that while sects are a blessing, sectarianism is a threat that undermines the social fabric. Utilizing Iraq’s pluralism, H.E. noted, strengthens both internal and external relations and contributes to lasting stability.
H.E. stressed the need to support and empower youth while enhancing the role of women as integral to society. H.E. highlighted the middle class as a stabilizing force that requires continuous support, calling for reform and modernization of the banking system. H.E. added that successful solutions depend on proper timing and transcending narrow self-interests.
H.E. reiterated support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples on all levels, emphasizing the importance of upholding a unifying national identity and linking national interests to stability in order to achieve a prosperous and stable Iraq.
