Sayyid Al-Hakeem Congratulates Iqtidar Watan Party, Stresses Generational Integration, Progress for Iraq
On the fourth anniversary of the founding of the Iqtidar Watan Party, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, extended his congratulations to the party and its leadership, led by Mr. Abdul Hussein Abtan. The anniversary coincides with the birth anniversary of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him), and H.E. wished the party success in serving the nation and its citizens across various fields.
H.E. highlighted the importance of generational integration among political forces and individuals, emphasizing its positive impact on enriching Iraq’s political landscape. H.E. noted Iraq's strategic position among major regional players, underscoring its pivotal role in shaping regional and international developments. H.E. stressed that advancing Iraq’s socio-economic reality is essential to safeguarding it from external changes and preparing it to confront future challenges.
H.E. called for strengthening Iraq’s internal front, uniting its people, and leveraging its diversity for national benefit to counter external threats. H.E. urged the implementation of the political agreement endorsed by the Parliament, emphasizing that this would foster trust among political forces and help achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
H.E. further noted that a strong state is the cornerstone of Iraq’s stability. Reinforcing governmental institutions and security agencies is fundamental to building a prosperous and progressive nation. H.E. also stressed the need for a robust and diversified economy, insulated from fluctuations in oil prices, and the provision of essential services to strengthen the state’s foundations.
H.E. called for the development of regional and international relations based on mutual interests and respect for Iraq’s sovereignty. H.E. also highlighted the importance of empowering youth and women in political life, pointing out that engaging in politics requires patience and careful analysis of evolving circumstances. H.E. emphasized that wisdom, moderation, and balance in decision-making are the most effective approaches to ensuring Iraq’s stability and fulfilling its people’s aspirations.
