Sayyid Al-Hakeem Honors Calligrapher Yusuf Dhannoun’s Legacy, Emphasizes Role of Culture and Diversity in Iraq’s Development
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, leader of the National State Forces Alliance, visited the center dedicated to the late renowned calligrapher and scholar Yusuf Dhannoun. His Eminence expressed deep admiration for the man H.E. described as a "great national figure" whose cultural and creative influence transcended the span of his life.
In his remarks, Sayyid Al-Hakeem highlighted that societies require more than political, security, or service-based solutions; they also need robust platforms for culture and intellectual expression. H.E. underscored the importance of nurturing talent and using cultural hubs, like the Yusuf Dhannoun Center, to strengthen Iraq’s national identity.
