    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Highlights of National Unity and Diversity Importance to Strengthen Iraq’s Stability During Meeting with Nineveh Tribal Sheiks, Dignitaries

    During his visit to Rabia sub-district in Nineveh, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, met with Sheiks and Dignitaries at the esteemed guesthouse of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Humaidi Al-Jarba, the leader of Al-Shammar tribe. In the meeting, Sayyid Al-Hakeem discussed various national and regional issues, emphasizing the need to preserve Iraq’s diversity within the framework of a unified Iraqi nation.
    His Eminence stressed that Iraq’s diversity is not only a source of internal strength but also an asset for tribes with regional connections, which can be leveraged to enhance Iraq's influence across the region and globally. H.E. also pointed to Pope Francis’ visit to Iraq as evidence of the significant role played by Iraq’s Christian partners in weaving the fabric of the nation.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated that building a strong state starts with a cohesive society, supported by effective institutions, a robust economy, and professional security forces. H.E. acknowledged the challenging circumstances Iraq and Nineveh have endured but noted that the current era of societal harmony and political stability is a testament to the sacrifices and bloodshed of Iraq’s people.
    Addressing the broader regional context, Sayyid Al-Hakeem spoke about the uncertain situation in Syria amid ongoing regional challenges. H.E. emphasized the importance of fortifying Iraq’s internal front to maintain its positive trajectory. H.E. highlighted the regional and international will for Iraq’s stability, pointing out that the stability of the region is closely tied to Iraq’s security and progress.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that Iraq is now safeguarded against severe pitfalls and is viewed as a rising nation capable of overcoming challenges and achieving lasting stability.
