Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Iraq Lives Reconstruction, Development Phase, Requiring Collective Efforts

As part of His Eminence’s tour in Dhi Qar Province, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, visited the guesthouse of Sheikh Amer Al Ghani Al-Suqban, the Chief Sheikh of Al-Khafaja tribe, where H.E. met with a distinguished gathering of the tribe’s sheikhs and dignitaries.
During the meeting, H.E. reflected on the longstanding historical ties with Al-Khafaja tribe, recalling the pivotal moments shared in defending Iraq and shaping its future.
H.E. emphasized that Iraq is currently in a phase of reconstruction, development, and prosperity, stressing that this stage requires the concerted efforts of all Iraqis to sustain and strengthen this progress. H.E. pointed out that the significant challenges Iraq has faced—whether security crises or political turmoil—have fortified the nation, equipping it with resilience to navigate future obstacles.
Praising the Iraqi people’s deep-rooted pride in their history and civilization, H.E. underscored that self-confidence remains a defining trait of Iraqis. Furthermore, H.E. highlighted that Iraq’s political system ensures the right to free expression, protest, and constructive criticism, reflecting the strength of Iraqi society and its ability to overcome difficulties.
H.E. reiterated that the strength of the Iraqi people translates into the strength of the nation as a whole, calling for unity and collective efforts to reinforce this strength. H.E. affirmed that Iraq possesses the capacity to continue on its path of progress and prosperity, driven by the determination and cooperation of its people.
This visit is part of H.E.'s broader tour in Dhi Qar, which aims to enhance engagement with Iraqi tribes and address their concerns to further stability and development across Iraq.
