    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Iranian Former Foreign Affairs Minister, Discuses Political Updates, Bilateral Ties

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received the Iranian Vice President for Strategic Affairs and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, along with his accompanying delegation. The discussions covered the latest political developments in the region and the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tehran.  
    His Eminence emphasized the need for regional countries to take the initiative in addressing ongoing tensions and called on key players to contribute to these efforts. Additionally, H.E. stressed the importance of ensuring that the Syrian people have fair opportunities to express their will, preserve their demographic composition, and draft their constitution.  
    Regarding Iraq, H.E. highlighted its significant achievements across political, security, social, and economic domains. H.E. underscored the necessity of safeguarding these accomplishments, particularly stability, given its impact on the region’s overall security.  
    Furthermore, H.E. reaffirmed the importance of reconstructing cities affected by war in Palestine and Lebanon, emphasizing that stability in the Middle East depends on the stability of all its nations, respect for their unique characteristics, and acknowledgment of their influence.
