Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Sound Planning, Stability, Sustainable Development from Al-Mada’in

During His Eminence visit to the residence of Sheikh Ali Kamil Al-Shimmeri in Mada’in District, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with a gathering of tribal sheiks and dignitaries from the district, offering condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Al-Askari (peace be upon him) and extending congratulations on the upcoming birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed’s birth (peace be upon him and his family).
In his address, His Eminence urged vigilance over what he described as “israeli aggression” in the region and the ongoing escalation in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and other areas, warning against expansionist schemes that threaten the stability of nations and the wider region.
H.E. stressed that Iraq’s adoption of dialogue and moderation in recent years has spared the nation from the consequences of regional turmoil, emphasizing that Iraqis have paid a heavy price for wars and conflicts in which they had no stake. H.E. called for lessons to be drawn from the past, urging a shift from empty slogans toward realistic planning and clear national priorities.
H.E. noted that years of political, security, and societal instability had delayed progress in development and public services, but the current stability has created opportunities to improve services, drive development, and attract investment, positively impacting citizens’ satisfaction.
H.E. added that Iraq’s recovery is increasingly evident despite ongoing challenges, highlighting that the upcoming elections represent a key step toward lasting stability and that moderation remains the best path to ensuring security, stability, and growth.
In conclusion, Sayyid Al-Hakeem called for responsible choices and national accountability by encouraging broad, active, and informed participation in the elections and electing capable individuals from reputable lists. H.E. also reiterated his warning against the misuse of political money during campaigns, especially amounts exceeding what is legally permitted for members of parliament.
