Sayyid Al-Hakeem Mourns Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah’s Martyrdom, Honored by Sacred Sacrifice
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, leader of the National State Powers Alliance, mourned the passing of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah sanctify his soul), who answered his Lord’s call. In a statement on social media, His Eminence said:
" In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah.1 Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least.” (33:23 Holy Quran)
With hearts heavy with grief yet filled with acceptance of Allah’s will, we announce to the Islamic world, the Lebanese people, his brave supporters, and the noble resistance, the martyrdom of a devout scholar, a true warrior in the fields of jihad, and a dedicated servant who spent his honorable life defending the word of truth. He was a staunch advocate for the causes of the Islamic nation, especially its foremost issue, the sanctity of Jerusalem.
We mourn the noble descendant of a pure lineage, His Eminence Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (May Allah sanctify his soul), who heeded his Lord’s call, drenched in the blood of martyrdom, walking the path of his forefathers—the prophets, imams, and righteous saints—joining the ranks of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the pious. His Eminence concluded his blessed life with the highest honor Allah bestows upon His chosen ones.
We consider this steadfast defender of truth a martyr, now resting in eternal peace with the Almighty. To the Israeli entity, we reaffirm that this nation, drawing strength from its martyred Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), is alive and will never perish, for 'martyrdom is our habit, and honor from Allah is our calling.' The resistance path will continue, unwavering, until either victory or martyrdom is achieved. For the cause of resistance, upheld by those who dedicate their souls and lives to justice, is far greater and more enduring than individuals and leaders. The martyrdom of this revered scholar and noble warrior is a profound loss.
As we pray to the Almighty to envelop him in His vast mercy and grant him the highest paradise, we also ask Allah to bestow patience and solace upon us, his honorable family, his fellow fighters, and his devoted followers.
“Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him, we shall return.” (156:02 Holy Quran)
