Sayyid Al-Hakeem to Kuwaiti Interior Minister: Pleased to have Iraq host Arab Brethren
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of Al-Hikma National Movement, welcomed His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, to Baghdad, and underscored the importance of exchanging visits and participating in conferences of mutual interest. Additionally, His Eminence stressed the need for a shared vision in combating the drug epidemic affecting the region and safeguarding our youth.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq is enjoying security and political stability and transforming into a major hub for infrastructure and production sector projects. H.E. expressed pleasure at having Iraq host its Arab brethren.
H.E. illustrated that Kuwait is a cherished sisterly and neighboring country with strong ties to Iraq, and we advocated for dialogue and understanding as the best means to address all outstanding issues.
H.E. also commended Kuwait’s honorable stance on the Palestinian issue, condemning the war on Gaza as a genocide against the Palestinian people without any deterrent to the Israeli entity. H.E. held the international community accountable for this crisis.
