Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, Stresses Strengthening National Stability Through Informed Electoral Participation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, Head of the Iraqi Sahwa (Awakening) Convention. During the meeting both sides recalled the historic relationship that has long connected His Eminence with the tribal sheiks and dignitaries of Al-Anbar Province, as well as their honorable national stances in confronting terrorism and promoting the values of national unity.
H.E. emphasized that the stability Iraq enjoys today is the result of great sacrifices made by Iraqis of all backgrounds, underscoring the importance of preserving and further reinforcing this stability for the country’s present and future.
H.E. also highlighted that the upcoming elections represent a pivotal moment in the path toward political and social stability, calling for broad, active, and informed participation that contributes to building a state of institutions and entrenching the democratic choice.
