    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives US Charge d’Affaires, Affirms Stability Consolidation, Bilateral Ties Strengthening

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with Mr. Steven Fagin, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy to Baghdad, and discussed the developments in Iraq and the wider region, as well as ways to strengthen Iraq–U.S. relations in a manner that serves mutual interests, safeguards Iraq’s sovereignty, and protects the interests of its people. 
    His Eminence also discussed Iraq’s positive trajectory, marked by security, political, and social stability. H.E. reaffirmed the importance of preserving and reinforcing this stability, stressing that all parties share responsibility. 
    The meeting also delved into the upcoming elections, as Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated their critical role in shaping the next stage, emphasizing the need for broad, active, and informed participation, as well as selecting the most capable candidates from credible lists. His Eminence also called for ensuring a secure electoral environment, enabling both candidates and voters to freely express their views and choices before the public.
