Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets Dhi Qar Sheiks, Dignitaries, Al-Budair Tribe: Political Deadlock Overcome, Next Challenge to Serve, Fair Wealth Distribution

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received in his Baghdad office a delegation of sheiks and dignitaries from Al-Budair tribe and Dhi Qar province, where discussions covered service-related and livelihood issues as well as current political affairs.
During the meeting, His Eminence noted the suffering endured by Dhi Qar, like other provinces, under dictatorship and later during the fight against terrorism in all its forms. H.E. stressed that Iraq managed to overcome those difficult years with Allah’s Almighty guidance, the support of the Supreme Religious Authority, and the positions of honorable citizens from all components of society.
H.E. explained that the country has moved past a dangerous phase of political strife and hostile media exchanges between leaders, affirming that political stability is a key foundation for lasting security. H.E. also highlighted that Iraq has moved beyond social tensions toward greater coexistence and harmony.
Looking ahead, H.E. emphasized that the next stage is about delivering services, improving infrastructure, and reforming the health and education sectors. H.E. pointed to noticeable progress in some provinces, while stressing the need to support those that lag behind and to ensure that the poorest governorates receive fair allocations in the federal budget.
H.E. renewed the call for broad and conscious participation in the upcoming elections, underscoring the importance of electing the most capable and trustworthy candidates from credible lists. H.E. urged candidates of the National State Powers Alliance to make clear commitments to their constituents, pledging not to change their residence or phone numbers after winning, and to actively follow up on projects and provide tangible services to citizens.
