Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Babel: Do Not Waste Achievements, Iraq Steadily Advances Toward Consolidating Moderation, Stability

During a gathering with the noble Bani Muslim tribes in Babel Governorate, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, recalled the ancient legacy and enduring values of Babel, describing it as the city through which Iraq is known—a land of prophets, a place once graced by the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the home of Zayd the Martyr, and a cradle of scholars, thinkers, and religious seminaries.
His Eminence also reflected on the long-standing relationship that united the family of the late Grand Ayatollah Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) with the honorable tribes of Babel.
    H.E. stated:
“This meeting comes more than twenty-two years after the change, during which Iraq has overcome numerous security, political, social, and sectarian challenges.”
H.E. affirmed that Iraqis have restored coexistence and that conflicts have transformed into cooperation, as relations among political forces have become more organized and governed by clear rules and frameworks for resolving differences. H.E. expressed reservations about any rhetoric that undermines national achievements, urging all to focus on the future while learning from the past without dwelling on it.
Referring to developments in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. remarked that Iraq has managed to deal with regional crises without becoming entangled in them. H.E. called for reinforcing Iraq’s stability by upholding moderation and centrism, stressing the importance of preserving achievements and strengthening international solidarity. H.E. further clarified that #DoNotWasteIt is not merely an electoral slogan but a guiding principle for managing the country in the coming phase, emphasizing that the national program requires capable and competent individuals committed to progress.
In conclusion, H.E. underscored the importance of empowering youth and believing in their abilities, affirming that caring for young people means caring for society as a whole. H.E. urged the selection of genuine representatives for local communities—those who possess the competence and dedication to serve the people and fulfill their aspirations.
