    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Kuwaiti Ambassador, Discusses Bilateral Ties, Iraq’s Stability, Regional Role

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Hasan Mohammed Al-Zaman, in His office in Baghdad on Tuesday morning, January 20, 2026, and discussed the political scene development in Iraq and the region, as well as the bilateral ties between Iraq and Kuwait in what serves the interests of the brotherly people and countries.

    H.E. affirmed that Iraq is going through unprecedented levels of stability across political, social, and security levels. H.E. Indicated that Iraq is also accumulating positives, and its stability is a necessity for the stability of the region, as this was proven by experiences and challenges that the region underwent.

    H.E. illustrated that the recent elections conveyed important messages of Iraq’s healing in different fields during the previous era.

    H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem also called upon the countries of the region to calm the situation, affirming the importance of adopting dialogue as the main option to resolve outstanding issues, and enhance opportunities for stability and joint development.
