Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls to Abandon Internal Conflicts, Sustainable Development Focus
From Al-Muthanna Governorate, at the encampment of the Al-Dhawalim tribe and the guesthouse of Sheikh Haytham Al Ghthayth Al-Dhalimi, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the sheikhs and dignitaries of the noble Al-Dhawalim tribe, as well as the sayyids, sheikhs, and dignitaries of Al-Muthanna Governorate.
H.E. recalled the glorious shared history binding the Al-Dhawalim tribe to the Iraqi people, evoking their legacy of defending the homeland at pivotal historical junctures — from the immortal Revolution of 1920 to the confrontation of the terrorist gangs of ISIS through the triad of tribes, Hussaini rituals, and the blessed Religious Reference Authority.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem extended his blessings to those present on the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer, affirming that this great occasion embodies the affirmation of the political Imamate of Imam Ali (PBUH) and Ahl Al-Bayt (PBUT), and that the proclamation of Ghadeer was coupled with the completion of the religion and the perfection of divine grace. H.E. affirmed that the enduring history with the tribes of Al-Muthanna traces back to the time of the Reference Authority of Imam Al-Hakeem, may his soul be sanctified, through the Ambassador of the Reference Authority, Shaheed Al-Mihrab, and Aziz Al-Iraq, may Allah be pleased with them all.
H.E. praised the pioneering model Iraq has presented in the
peaceful transfer of power, regarding it as a singular phenomenon unseen in the region and unprecedented in Iraq's own history, and extended his congratulations to Al-Muthanna Governorate on its representation in the government through Mr. Faleh Al-Sari as Minister of Finance.
On the economic front, H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem noted Iraq's exposure to the repercussions of the regional war, particularly the decline in oil production and exports, explaining that the crisis has been further compounded by falling revenues. H.E. expressed hope for a return to normalcy, calling for the nature of this matter to be clearly communicated to the general public. H.E. also called for the warming of relations with the regional and international environment, clarifying that these two challenges contributed to the selection of Mr. Al-Zaydi as Prime Minister — in addition to his being a young figure who understands the aspirations of Iraqi youth and addresses their concerns.
H.E. stressed that while the challenge is great, the opportunity is greater, calling for the diversification of export outlets and national income sources, movement toward access to the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, the activation of all productive sectors including agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and technology, a focus on the path of sustainable development, and a definitive departure from internal conflicts.\
