Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses Regional Situation and Bilateral Relations Between Iraq and Kuwait with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Al Ghanim
In the context of his visit to the sister country of Kuwait during the holy month of Ramadan, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Al Ghanim.
His eminence tackled with Al Ghanim the political and security developments in Iraq and the region, the bilateral relations between the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the Kuwaiti National Assembly.
His eminence pointed out that Iraq is fighting a war on terrorism on behalf of the world and the region, clarifying that Iraqis are united against terrorism and will vanquish it thanks to the efforts of the security forces, the popular crowd, the Iraqi tribes and the Peshmerga.
