Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Confirms the Confidence of Defeating the Terrorist ISIS during a Meeting with Ayatollah Sayyid Mahmoud Hashemi.
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, confirmed the ability of the Iraqi people to overcome the vicious attack of the terrorist ISIS and liberating the usurped Iraqi land, referring in this context to the great Fatwa issued by the Supreme Reference about the Islamic Jihad and the flow of the Popular Mobilization Forces into the honorable confrontation fields against the aggression of ISIS, noting that Iraq is facing terrorism on behalf of the world. His Eminence appreciated the supporting attitudes of the Islamic Republic of Irantowards Iraq.
This came during a meeting between Sayyid al-Hakim in Tehran with the Grand Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Saturday 15/08/2015, on the sidelines of the 6th international conference of Ahl al-Bayt(AS) World Assembly, currently placed in Tehran.
For his part, Sayyid al-Hashemi praised the sacrifices and the morale of the Iraqi people in their heroic opposition against the gangs of ISIS, stressing on the need to provide support for Iraqi insurgents and to provide the supplies for the ultimate victory over terrorism.
