In his Meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Imam Ali Khamenei Calls to Join Forces and Preserve the National Achievements in Iraq
The leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may Allah preserve him) called Iraqis to join forces, enhance internal harmony and preserve the national achievements.
His eminence stressed, during his meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, on Thursday, 20/8/2015, the importance of reinforcing the national unity, and blocking the attempts by Iraq’s enemies to sow division among the Iraqi citizens. He also stressed the need to focus on the real enemy represented by ISIS and to provide citizens with the essential services, praising the pivotal role of the supreme religious authority.
For his part, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim informed Imam Khamenei of all the developments on the Iraqi arena and the demands of demonstrators, insisting on abiding by the constitution, maintaining national cohesion and working hard to cater for the citizens’ demands.
